Zillow app is available for android as well as iOS
After downloading the app, now open your mobile app and type your query directly into the search engine. You may quickly enter search criteria for the area, price, and property features you’re looking for using our new natural language search tool, all without having to use filters.
Some other examples of searches you may like to do:
1) “Las Vegas NV homes with a swimming pool”
2) “Chicago IL homes with hardwood floor”
3) “Austin TX homes with garden”
(Tips: Make sure to save this search so you can easily return to it later and receive alerts when new listings for homes that meet your criteria become available.)
Okay how to use other feature, see more below:-
Your home search can be filtered by monthly payment.
Budgeting is important, but with changing mortgage rates and hidden monthly expenses, it can be one of the most difficult elements of the home hunt. The list price of the properties you are interested in can be a wonderful place to start, but it may not always be exactly in line with your ideal monthly payment, which might vary depending on things like your down payment, mortgage rate, and taxes and insurance.
Now, you can quickly filter houses based on a price range that includes all of your monthly expenses*. Toggle to the monthly payment tab under the price range filter, where you can enter your chosen minimum and maximum monthly payment amounts as well as your down payment amount.
After you submit the form, the homes with list prices that are within your range for monthly payments will appear in your search results. Most significantly, this monthly payment number covers property taxes, estimated insurance expenses, homeowners association fees, as well as principal and interest payments on your mortgage.
In addition, the filter is updated in response to changes in mortgage rates, so results will always be within your price range. In other words, when you save your search, you’ll keep seeing homes that fall within the range of your preferred monthly payment.
More Search Filters:
Listing type: You can search all listings or narrow results to see any combination of existing homes, new construction homes, foreclosures, homes coming to market soon, or homes for sale by owner.
Home type: Do you want a house, a condo, a mobile home, a co-op, or a townhouse? Or are you trying to find a plot of land where you can construct a special house? If you want to see them all while keeping your options open, choose any of them.
Number of bedrooms and bathrooms: Use this box to search for anything from a studio to a mansion with more than six bedrooms and bathrooms, or anything in between.
3D Home tours.
Set an alert in any listings that have the 3D Home tours feature, which lets you virtually “walk through” a home. You can reserve in-person visits for houses you’re really interested in by touring them electronically first.
How to save and share your house search
Save – When you’ve finished making your selections, a map will show colorful dots representing the residences that fit your criteria. To view details on a home, click on a dot. To make it simple to find it the next time you log into your Zillow account, touch or click Save if you like what you see or want to return to it later.
Set up email alerts & Share – You can set an email alert schedule for a stored search as well. You will receive alerts as soon as a home that matches your criteria enters the market if you set your alerts to Instant. If you’re in the market right now and ready to buy, this is fantastic.
The Zillow mobile app lets you mark the features of a home that you like and send them to a partner by email alert if you’re co-shopping.
Compare saved homes side-by-side
Once you have saved particular homes inside your search, tap or click Saved Homes, then select the particular properties you wish to compare side by side, before tapping or clicking Compare. Each home’s details are displayed in one place when you use the Homes to Compare tool.
You can store as many searches you need, which is useful if you want to keep track of searches based on neighborhoods or other factors.
Refine or delete your saved searches
By accessing the “settings” associated with your account, you can delete or modify saved houses and searches.
Zillow 7 advanced search features you should know:
1. Search in real time – Imagine yourself living there as you’re driving through a neighborhood. Find houses close to where you are by using the smartphone app. Simply click the right-pointing, upward arrow in the search bar.
2. Search a single address or specific area – You also can search by typing an address into the search bar or draw a custom region on the map. You can choose to be notified when new listings in this area come on the market. Zillow will also let you know if the value of a house you’ve saved declines, it’s taken off the market, or it holds an open house.
3. Use the Zestimate – Many of the homes listed for sale on Zillow have a Zestimate® value, which estimates the home’s market value by using information from tax assessor and county records as well as direct feeds from multiple brokerages and multiple listing agencies. Facts and features about a home are also included in the Zestimate value.
4. See a home’s sale history – Each home page for a property that is for sale includes data on price history, property tax history, and assessment history. This data can be checked for anomalies, such as recent failed sales or unjustified price increases.
5. Discover more neighborhood details from each listing – Every listing page for a home includes a few basic facts about the neighborhood if you’re still looking for one you’ll love. To view the Walk Score, Transit Score, or Bike Score for your neighborhood, click the Neighborhood tab, or browse the listings of houses close by.
6. See your commute using Travel Time – If you frequently commute, turn on Travel times in the listing’s Overview section. Add the address, and Travel Time will calculate your travel time. For travel by vehicle, public transportation, bicycle, or foot, you can see estimates.
7. evaluate interest in a listing – Three stats help you with this: Time on Zillow, Views, and Saves. Just above the listing description, you may find them. High views and many saves indicate that a listing is likely to sell quickly. You can look more into the listing data if it has been on Zillow for a while to try and figure out why.
