Bonita Domes, a collection of surreal coiled-earth structures based on a design by Iranian-American architect Nader Khalili, is on the market in Joshua Tree, California U.S.

According to listing information, the home’s current owner, Jeffrey Weiss, paid $808,500 for it in October 2020. He’s putting the house up for sale for the first time now.

According to real estate data provider Realtor.com, the median listing price of a home in Joshua Tree is $440,000. There are 181 single-family houses available for purchase in the neighborhood right now, with costs ranging from $119,999 to $18 million. The third most expensive listing in the neighborhood is the Bonita Domes property.

Listing agent James Bianco of Coldwell Banker Realty told Insider that a woman by the name of Lisa Starr, built the domes over the course of seven years.
