He continued: “Thank you all for your immense support over the years. I’ve sat here trying to come up with the perfect way to say this and I truly can’t put into words how much it has meant to us. Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or are just finding us, it has been a pleasure to not only share the stage with so many talented people but also share our time with you.”

How Panic! At The Disco was started

The band was formed in 2004 by Urie and childhood friends guitarist Ryan Ross, drummer Spencer Smith and bassist Brent Wilson while they were still teenagers. Other members have been bassist Jon Walker and multi-instrumentalist Dallon Weekes.
In their early days, they were accused of having ghostwriters and were “hated” by other Las Vegas bands, Urie told the Evening Standard in 2016. “It made me so happy, the fact that everyone was hating on us so hard,” Urie said. “We just thought, ‘Wow, people are really taking notice. Let’s have a ball with it.’”
Even though he carried the band’s flag alone in later years, Urie found other other creative outlets, like dueting with Taylor Swift on “ME!” and made his Broadway stage debut in “Kinky Boots” in 2017. later writing music for the show “SpongeBob SquarePants.”
